Urn Placement Blessing Ceremony

Each year, Nirvana Memorial Garden hosts a special Urn Placement Blessing Ceremony, inviting families to participate in a meaningful tradition of seeking blessings and good fortune. On an auspicious date, customers gather in our Block B Main Hall, standing before their pre-ordered urns to take part in this heartfelt event.

Led by a Shifu, the ceremony features two hours of chanting and prayers, creating a serene and sacred atmosphere. Attendees are then guided to place symbolic items representing wealth and longevity into their urns, a gesture believed to invite prosperity and blessings for themselves and their loved ones. Each urn is carefully wrapped in red cloth before being carried to its designated niche in the columbarium.

This annual ceremony not only honors tradition but also offers families a sense of fulfillment and peace, knowing their wishes for abundance and longevity are respectfully expressed and blessed at Nirvana Memorial Garden.
